Master the Swap: ONG to ONT via iZUMi Finance

Embarking on your DeFi journey with Ontology just got easier! With the power of iZUMi Finance, you can now swap your ONG for ONT in a few simple steps. This guide will walk you through the process, helping you navigate the decentralized exchange (DEX) like a pro. So, whether you’re a seasoned DeFi enthusiast or a newcomer to the space, let’s get started and master the art of swapping!

Three steps on how to turn ONG into ONT via the DEX:

Step 1: Transfer ONG (Ontology) to ONG (ORC20) with Ontology Bridge

Go to: https://bridge.ont.io, connect non-EVM wallet and EVM wallet. You should see your wallet address displayed once done.

Click the ONG Transfer button as shown in the figure below.
Choose Non-EVM from the Wallet column (Your native address will be recognized automatically then) and fill in the EVM address (To which ORC-20 ONG will be sent)
Click “Transfer” when everything is good, make sure you have enough ONG for the gas fee (0.05 ONG each transaction).

Step 2: Use iziSwap to swap ONG (ORC-20) to WONT (ORC-20)

Go to: https://izumi.finance/trade/swap, locate in the top right corner and click the “Connect Wallet” button to connect metamask wallet. Also, switch to “Ontology” in your wallet’s network settings.
Time to swap “ONG” into “WONT”. The top token or “from” placeholder depicts the token you own (ONG in this scenario), while the second token or “to” placeholder represents the token you receive (WONT in this scenario) after the successful swap.
Double check the amount you want to swap and make sure you prepare enough ORC-20 ONG for the gas fee (Around 0.5 ONG for each transaction).
Click swap and confirm the transaction. If the transaction is successful, a message will appear in the bottom right corner of the page.

Step 3: Bridge WONT (ORC20) to ONT (Ontology) with Ontology Bridge

Go to: https://bridge.ont.io again.This time we should use Token Bridge.
Let’s choose “WONT” in the assets list and ensure the asset will be bridged from ORC-20 into Ontology native.
Double check the amount and make sure you have enough ORC-20 ONG for the gas fee (Around 0.15 ONG normally).
Click Swap and confirm the transaction. You ONT will be available in a short time.
