Development Progress

We are 100% done with the Rollup VM design. The White Paper will be published soon.
We are 99% done with the Rollup RISCV EVM actuator.
We are 98% done with the Rollup L1<->L2 cross-layer communication.
We are 98% done with the Rollup L1<->L2 Token Bridge.
We are 99% done with the L1 data synchronization server.
We are 98% done with the L2 Rollup Node.
We are 91% done with the L2 blockchain browser.

Product Development

ONTO App v4.4.4 brought support for Metis Chain, Ripple Chain and Ripple EVM Chain, and supported asset swap on Avalanche Chain and Gnosis Chain. The red pocket function has added support for Bitgert Chain, Telos Chain and Metis Chain.
ONTO has published the November monthly report, summarizing a series of functional optimizations including integrated Go+ Security dApp and added NFT risk detection.
ONTO hosted an online AMA with Euterpe successfully. ONTO also hosted a Telegram Quiz with NeoNS, participants answered Quiz questions and shared 60 GAS. ONTO hosted the Hold2Earn Campaign and AMA with Bitger, and hosted a staking campaign with SIL Finance.

160 total dApps on MainNet as of December 24th, 2022.
7,242,826 total dApp-related transactions on MainNet, an increase of 17,251 from last month.
18,165,073 total transactions on MainNet, an increase of 26,752 from last month.

Community Growth & Bounties

This month, several Ontology Community Calls and discussions were held on Discord and Telegram, focusing on topics such as “Ontology’s 5th Anniversary”, “How Soulbound Tokens Could Change Society as We Know It”, “Web3 Reputation and DAO” and “DID AI just change Web3”. Community members discussed ChatGP and its implications for DID, participants also got the chance to win Loyal Member NFTs.
Erick Pinos, Ontology Americas Ecosystem Lead, was invited to join the AMA hosted by the Web3 messaging protocol Web3MQ, chatting about the possible trends for 2023 by A16Z.

Ontology MainNet has been upgraded to v2.4.2, added cors support for Web3 API, added Web3 filter API, and fixed Gas Fee Event Decimal Loss.
Ontology ONT Locked Products of staking in Binance event has been successfully concluded. Global users can still stake ONT with the ONTO Wallet or via the web to earn high APYs.
Ontology participated in the Binance Football Fever 2022 event, global users who send the football themed gift cards in ONT to Binance new users can share extra 5,000 BUSD rewards!
