The ocean is a place that most love. The windy breeze and warm sun, who wouldn't? Not only does it contain vast amounts of beauty, but also garbage. Broken glass, bottles, and other things are thrown away and unwanted. The glass faces the waves' wrath and is thrown through the sand. Non-stop. It rolls and rolls, appearing defeated, for what can be years at a time.

But it didn't let the hurt of being thrown away, unwanted, and beaten up by the waves stop it from turning into something beautiful. This garbage turned into a new creation, a symbol of a fresh start.

Many of us can learn a lesson or two from sea glass. A fresh start is always possible, no matter the circumstances. Although we may feel like things are rough, consistently being knocked down by what life may throw at us, and it may seem hard to get up, something beautiful can always come out of it. Do not let the fear of what you were in the past prevent you from seeing what you can be in the future. The new path that you are on will only lead to better things if you are persistent and refuse to let the difficulties of life prevent you from reaching your full potential.

Choose to be like sea glass in the midst of the ocean, when you're in the midst of a crisis.
