On Saturday, June 2nd a malicious transaction appeared on the Lisk Blockchain. It was an invalid, custom transaction that utilized flaw in the code. The operation was deemed valid and went through the processing steps on each node.

Since the bug as mentioned earlier affects almost all DPoS blockchains, ONZ is issuing the immediate update to all delegate nodes.
This security patch is mandatory for all MainNet nodes.
Please update as soon as possible! For detailed update instructions see below.
- Log in to your server.
If you are running a checker, please disable before proceeding to the next steps. - Enter the command ‘cd onz’
- Run command ‘./onz_manager.bash update_client’
By running the above commands, this will pull the new version with the security patch.
If you are using Checker, don’t forget to re-enable it.
