The trail is going around an island. During winter you can walk on the ice to other sides of the river’s delta, there are more trails.

How to get there:

Google coordinates to the parking lot. Naturkartan.se

Bird watching:

Umeälvens Delta is a resting place for birds, mostly April-May: geese, swans, cranes, ducks, waders. But some birds do it in Autumn too.

Birds watching is possible from a tower or a platform.

The tower is 900 m away from the parking lot (Photo by Dolores, March 14th, 2020)

Along the way:

The shortest path from parking to the tower (900m) is going along fallen trees, the path is lined with wood and haw plenty of benches. There are bird feeding stations along the path.
Walk along the river does not have an elevated from the ground path
