Oozelandia is always Under Construction
Celebrating what we’ve accomplished, and looking forward!
Hey everyone! Donny here. We’ve had a busy few weeks with the launch of Ooze Finance and all the improvements and additions to our ecosystem we’ve been making. I wanted to give you the rundown of everything that’s happened, as well as to give you some alpha on what we’re working on behind the scenes to expand the utility of OOZE.
What a launch!
We’re really proud of our community and how well this launch went. At the time of writing, here are the stats:
1,699 NFTs minted (1,058 Order of SLIME and 641 Biopunks)
OOZE has a market cap of $2.5 million.
USDC reserves of 708k
User liquidity in SLIME (OOZE/USDC) of 59.9k SLIME, worth around $166,635 UDSC.
Additional protocol locked liquidity of $11.4k USDC.
Of the 1 million OOZE tokens, 643k locked in the Sewer contract, and 283k in liquidity, leaving just 74k in circulation.
More than the stats, we have an engaged, positive community, with fast growing teams, high engagement, and creative suggestions for improvements and expansions.
We’re really excited to keep growing and bringing new things to this community.
Since launch…
If you haven’t noticed, we haven’t been resting on our laurels since launch. We’ve been listening to every request and idea from our community and have already implemented a bunch of them! This in addition to stomping every bug we find. Here’s just a sample of the improvements and additions we’ve made:
NFT Sales live on PaintSwap!
After some trouble with TofuNFT, we’ve shifted our focus to PaintSwap and have our NFT collection live there now. You can browse the entire collection of OOZE NFTs as well as those you’ve put on sale. Every sale sends a 5% commission that will be used to purchase OOZE and send back into the contract.
We’ve heard your requests for more info on the NFTs visible and are hard at work at integrating PaintSwap’s API into our own UI which will allow you to browse all the NFTs available for sale right from our dApp with added information on our end about the value of the NFT in terms of OOZE deposited, team size, and more.
OOZE Chart
We’ve made improvements to our OOZE chart available at https://dapp.ooze.finance/chart.
Transfer Station
Because some have trouble importing their NFTs to their wallets, we’ve added a transfer station UI available in the City or at https/dapp.ooze.finance/nftTransfer that makes it easy for you to transfer your NFTs between wallets.
Additional Data, Display, and Ease-Of-Use
We’ve been working hard on more ways to display info about your NFT and team such as tree-view for disciples, tooltips throughout the dApp, and total system stats on https://dapp.ooze.finance/stats.
Telegram Bots
We’ve launched OOZE Support Bot and OOZE Price Bot in the telegram, with many more features to come.
OOZE Billboard
A mysterious billboard has arrived in Oozelandia, and it’s bringing our YouTube channel to even more Oozers. April’s been running a series highlighting different teams- check it out and DM her if you want to get involved. And this is just the start for this billboard…
Oozelandia Construction Projects
And now to what most of you are probably reading this article for- what new things are in store for us in the near and longer term. Every day we receive new suggestions for ideas from you, our investors, and we have plenty of big ideas of our own. The following are expansions to Oozelandia that we’ve started work on. Don’t expect them in any particular order- we’re constantly adapting to the ever-changing market and taking any opportunity we can to grow our ecosystem.
OOZE Merch
We’ve started conversations with a large merch company that would allow us to print custom OOZE designs as well as your unique OOZE NFT on anything from t-shirts to mugs to phone cases, and pay for it with crypto. Every merchandise purchase would buy OOZE and send it into the Sewer contract.
OOZE External DEX Listing
Once we have reached a healthy amount of liquidity in our internal DEX, we plan on adding some of it to an external DEX on Fantom in order to bring more visibility to OOZE. This will mean that sites such as DexScreener, DexTools, CMC, etc. will be able to list our token and show the OOZE price from that external DEX. Our internal DEX will still be our main focus, as it’s where our SLIME liquidity from users is staked, but this will open us up a bit more to the external world and make it easier for others to discover OOZE. All buys from this DEX would be taxed 10%.
OOZE Gear and OOZE Boosters
We are currently designing the framework for equippable NFT gear for your NFT characters. Some of these will be purely cosmetic, and will all have limited availability to add to rarity. And a limited amount of items will have the ability to boost your NFT’s abilities, from increasing your daily XP or your daily ROI to increasing the rewards you earn from recruiting new disciples. To have a chance to receive these items, you will purchase ‘Ooze Booster’ packs, which will come with a random selection of NFT cards, which will include the gear cards, as well as one-time use cards such as extra XP, OOZE airdrops, as well as entries into a weekly lottery with proceeds paid from the purchase fees for the booster packs.
OOZE Monasteries Take Over Oozelandia
Our communities are the backbone and heart of OOZE. As such, we want to empower them, give them more visibility, and even encourage a little healthy competition between them. To that end, we’re doing the following:
- Billboard auction- compete with other teams to rent space on the Oozelandia billboard for a week. Everyone coming to the site will see your team front and center and be linked to your site or telegram group. We also will be having auctions for other spots in our app such as a ‘Suggestion Slot’ for when people go to the mint page without a referral.
- Team Growth contests- we will highlight the fastest growing teams each week on our Leaderboard and give out OOZE airdrops as prizes.
- Buy real-estate in Oozelandia!
Does your OOZE team need a permanent place to reside in Oozelandia? Those who invest in these building NFTs will receive a permanent place on the Oozelandia map with the ability to customize an advertising tooltip that everyone will see when hovering over your building on the Ooze Site. As NFTs, these buildings will be also tradeable and sellable. But that’s just the start of utility for these buildings…
OOZE Dojos
If you purchase an OOZE building as a guru, you’ve just purchased a private space for your team. Only those who hold your disciple NFTs will be able to enter your dojo. Inside these dojos you will be able to host:
- Private live chat
- Private media content such as articles and videos
- Live events where users can watch live video content, participate, ask questions with text and voice, and receive rewards such as OOZE airdrops and XP for participation.
OOZE Dojos aren’t just a space for current denizens of Oozelandia. Imagine you are a creator in the Web3 space who wants to make a space for premium content for your most loyal fans and users. Some of those fans may not be comfortable with signing up for a Web2 content space that requires they KYC, enter credit card information, etc. in order to receive access to that content. Instead, you can create tiered content for members of your OOZE monastery based on their deposit amounts and receive consistent financial reward from the compounding of their NFTs. Your disciples benefit both from the premium content you provide as well as with dividends off of their own OOZE NFTs. And because they can mint as many NFTs as they want, they can join many monasteries and get access to many dojos in this way. This is brand-new utility not currently existing in the DeFi space. We’ve already been talking with several big names who are interested in onboarding their premium content delivery to their fans into Oozelandia.
And you know that the OOZE team will model this ourselves with our own AMAs hosted in dApp where every OOZE NFT holder has access.
