Our infographic contest has come to an end — and we received many great submissions! Thanks to everyone who participated in our contest!

It wasn’t easy to pick our top choices. But we had to decide on our top three and here are our winners:

Grand Prize: WilliamP wins 6000 OPCT (~$584 USD)
Second Prize: Emil wins 3000 OPCT
(~$292 USD)
Third Prize: Bloodwork wins 1000 OPCT
(~$97 USD)

Check out all their submissions below!

We had many great submissions and these winners barely had the edge compared to our other entries. Congratulations to all our winners and thanks for making this so successful!

But wait — we don’t want to let the other graphics come to nothing — we need the community to help decide a fourth choice! We will share this community pick on our social media channels and give it the proper recognition it deserves!

Community Choice Voting

Visit Twitter and vote for your favorite pick of the remaining infographics right now to the determine the community winner! Just enter the hashtag #OPCTinfographic, include the name of the user, and mention @opacity_storage.

We will complete the Community Choice Voting on Monday March 15.

#1: WilliamP — Grand Prize: 6000 OPCT

One of our long time community members, WilliamP, submitted two versions of their infographic with a slight difference in one design element. One of the versions used a lock centered as one of its key elements, while the other contains a coin-like Opacity logo instead.

Subtle, but effective, 3D-effects distinguish William’s submissions from the rest of the crowd, giving them an edge. They highlight our community apps, our partners, a storage provider comparison, and the available storage plans — all bundled into a single infographic, while still maintaining readability. A really thoughtful design with Opacity’s corporate colors and a clean look with a lot of information!

Congratulations, WilliamP!

#2: Emil — Second Prize: 3000 OPCT

Another community member, Emil, created their take on an infographic for Opacity Storage. The color scheme and layout are especially pleasant to look at — simplicity is a very effective tool. Remarkable is the inclusion of a comparison chart as well, which includes logos adapted to the Opacity color scheme — a really nice touch. Created icons fit the overall design very well, giving it a clean look. A really well-deserved second place. Additionally, Emil created another infographic with a completely different approach, which we also appreciated.

Congratulations, Emil!

#3: Bloodwork — Third Prize: 1000 OPCT

The contestant by the name Bloodwork submitted two versions of their infographic design. Each reflects the color scheme and concept for our new upcoming website and web app designs taken from the sneak peak in our last AMA session. The unique icons flatter the overall appearance of the design.

One version offers more information and more elaborate text about each topic regarding what makes Opacity unique, while the other iteration offers a roadmap, with upcoming milestones for Opacity 2.0 with appropriate icons encapsulating the progress and event. It compliments our upcoming overhaul, making it a worthy pick for our top three.

Congratulations, Bloodwork!
