OPQ Action Required: OPCT Token Swap and Exchange Support

The previously announced token swap is underway. Be sure to get the latest information so you are ready.

New OPCT Token Contract Deployed

The new OPCT token contract was deployed and code verified on Ethereum Mainnet.

Kucoin and Mercatox Support

Kucoin has received sufficient OPCT to cover the hacker incident for OPQ that was stolen from the hot wallet. They are undergoing the setup process for OPCT to be listed in place of OPQ. They will also need to receive additional OPCT for their cold wallet when this process is complete.

Mercatox has received a small portion of OPCT to perform testing and setup and when that is complete, they will also receive sufficient amount to cover all holdings.

Private Wallet Support

The website is expected to be updated within 1–2 weeks with the OPCT Token Swap Portal for all private holders to be able to swap. This also involves us deploying the swap token contract that will bridge the exchange between the private wallet and the OPCT contract. Final preparation to use the new mainnet contract and update instructions is in progress.

Additional Items

• Payment for storage accounts on opacity.io will need to be updated to use the new token, OPCT. OPQ will no longer be accepted once this is enabled.
• All references to OPQ will be updated to OPCT onsite and all other assets.
• Coinmarketcap will be updated following the initialization of the new token on exchanges and via the website.
• Deadline to use the website swap service will be 12/31/2020.
