Learn Kubernetes: Deploy a MongoDB Pod

In this story, we will install a Pod to run a MongoDB Docker container on Kubernetes.

Creating the service

Create a service.yaml file for the service for MongoDB:

kind: Service
metadata:
labels:
name: mongo
name: mongo
spec:
ports:
- port: 27017
targetPort: 27017
selector:
name: mongo

Create the Service:

kubectl apply -f service.yaml
