From Dire Traits to Spilling Portraits
Every one of us has at some point spilled a revealing fact about ourselves that we would have rather kept secret. Each of these little secrets is like a sneak peek into the bursting world that is inside “Closed Heads”, with many living “Traits” fighting to be revealed. The Open Head NFT is here to break open the universe of inherited and incorporated traits that are competing within the colorful depths of the subconscious.
When the Head opens, traits are let loose and they wash the picture with their personalities. Traits that display get an opportunity to interact with other traits and evolve. Each of the 255 traits takes over and expresses through one of the eight Open Head “Elements” that come together to make a unique NFT character: Head, Skin, Wear, Ear, Eyes, Mouth, Nose, and Background.
Each Head carries under it layers and layers of traits, but only the best ones get a chance to break out! Each trait gets classified into one of the 5 categories of rarity; with “Very common”, and “Common” traits appearing more often in the collection, and “Rare”, and “Very Rare” becoming increasingly harder to find, and finally “Legendary” traits being extremely exclusive and valuable. The combination of rarities of the Open Heads’ traits will add up to the overall rarity score of the NFT, with the rarer traits contributing more than the more common ones.
Legendary Open Heads are those that are so outstanding in their category that they define the entire character, from Head to Token. Only 5 Legendary 1/1 Open Heads will ever be minted, representing the once in a lifetime breakthrough that defines an entire generation, like how Ramen saved the teenage lives of many Millenials, and how pixel games defined an era of hardcore gamers, Ethereum is now opening up a Head-ception of possibilities for blockchain technology and NFT art.
