6 Ideas to Improve Our Society and Economy (NSFW)

I have 6 ideas that will be critical as we discuss ideas to get our country on track.

1. We have to stop making the “job” the root of our economy. We need far less employees and many more business owners. The only way to build the level of businesses in this culture is stop viewing entrepreneurs as “special” and to see their role as “the Status Quo”.

2. We need to consider nationalizing Healthcare and Drug research to get control over costs. Free markets have limits. Healthcare and Long term care for our seniors should not be subject to the whims of the markets.

3. We need to give up our love affair with a physical coinage and make cryptocurrency the basis of how money flows through our economy.

4. We don’t necessarily need to give housing away so much as drive down the cost of production. Government could reward through tax credits those companies that produce homes for those in poverty. And the cost should be pegged to income.

5. We need a solid national discussion on how this economy while at full employment for those highly skilled has left behind millions who will never qualify for the training or jobs that moving up the value chain entails. These Americans will NEVER catch up and we need to understand that as America moves up the value chain millions more will drop out of the economy.

6. We must grant technical and academic education are equal. A BA is no more valuable than a Technical Education. We must give up the fallacy that a four year degree alone can pull people out of poverty. We must also place emphasis on Technical education in our military and our prisons. If you want to the arrest the culture of failure that exists in our military vets and ex cons we must rethink how we prepare people for life after the war and the cell.
