The CODEVID-19 Hackathon was launched on March 16, 2020, in Edmonton, Canada. The hackathon’s purpose is to build useful apps to help others manage and survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

Projects compete in four problem areas:

  • Supporting Crisis Response
  • Understanding The Pandemic
  • Social Distancing & Isolation
  • Scarcity & The Economy

One team of the Open Marketplace did participate to bring some applications to live with the motivation from the hackathon.
The team exist from the following members (Discord handles and roles)

We did tackle the Scarcity & The Economy problem area.

Every week — they started a weekly competition to let the community vote for the project of the week. The Open Marketplace team won the week five submission.
