A little history

If you ever visit the southernmost islands in the Caribbean chain, no doubt you’ll be looking forward to an island adventure.

There are plenty of touristy things you can do. Sample the food, swim in the sea, and no doubt partake in some of the finest island weed you can lay your hands upon.

Small amounts are legal on the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

The island boasts of a very colored history where native people encountered a variety of European peoples who brought with them both Africans and Indians.

At this point the major demographic groups all get their own religious holiday.

All told there are 15 public holidays in the twin islands. It’s not hard to figure out where the relaxed Caribbean Vibe comes from; everyone is always in church, preparing to go to church or coming home after church. You’d think Trinidadians were the most holy people out there but, you’d be wrong.

Getting there

You see Church is different on the islands.
