I look at the future of water access and security today. Water access and security are still difficult issues, and giving everyone on the planet access to clean water would be an enormous triumph of development and our collective civilisation. But a lot of that will have to do with global coooperation and the availability of potential breakthrough technology. Will there indeed be breakthrough technology that will lower the cost of clean water? Will there be sufficient global cooperation to make water issues an important global issue?
