Discovery — the open source MaaS app

Mobility is not just about moving from A to B, it is about exploring new places in our city, new ways of travelling, new worlds. The Discovery app gains its name for its focus on showing you new ways of travelling, new places and of-course Star Trek.

Open Transport is working together with public transport operators to launch an app that manages your tickets, unlocks vehicles and bikes, gets you transport at the airport and helps you finding new places. All that without worrying about payments.

Discovery will offer you unlimited travelling in public transport and other services plus discounted transport options such as rental cars.

Discovery functions can be incorporated in existing public transport apps, can be launched by the city authorities or by any travel apps.

Are you a developer?

The discovery API will connect to existing routing, mapping, locations and transit data APIs that will allow you to easily use our open source app to launch you own app, Apple watch app or connect to your AI assistant.

If you already have a mobility solution or plan to develop your own MaaS experience, the Discovery API + Open Transport API is all you need.

Open Transport API allows you to find, to book and to interact with transport while it handles all the billing and service agreements for you.
