I couldn’t help but be drawn to the latest KickStarter campaign that brings something a little different to the world of cycle computers. ShredMate has been developed specifically for mountain bikes and:

  • TRACKS AND MEASURES YOUR JUMPS
  • TRACKS G FORCE
  • DETECTS ROUGH TRAILS
ShredMate letting you view your landing G-Force for jumps.

One of the main ideas behind the concept is if a rider knows how hard they are landing by measuring G-force, you can train to be a smoother and faster rider. ShredMate also gives you a clear indication of your route and changes colour depending on how fast you go. Red for Fast, Green for Slow.

ShredMate is the first cycle computer for mountain bikes that measures jumps, g-forces and detects rough trails automatically.

ShredMate automatically detects when you’re riding a rough trail. ShredMate lets you view each trail separately, so that you can easily view detailed telemetry for the sections of your ride that matters the most.

View your entire ride via the smartphone app.

The KickStarter won’t last much longer so if this sounds like something you’d love, then show the campaign some love and get on board at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1333727138/shredmate-tracks-mountain-bike-jumps-g-forces-and
