SeatNinja, is a reservation and seat management app based outside of Sacramento, CA, that was founded on the premise that other products and technologies out there were not easy to implement or didn’t ultimately deliver on what they promised. So, Michael and his team decided to disrupt this space by offering an affordable and easy to use platform. Technology is not the strong suit for a lot of the restaurant operators. SeatNinja delivers a solution that doesn’t get in the way, enabling restaurant employees to focus on what they do best, and that is to take care of their customers.
Michael went on to say, “making something easy to use is hard, it starts with the human experience.” He spent a lot of time working with various restaurant operators, simply watching them do their jobs. As a result, they were able to narrow down the key tasks, and figure out what is the simplest way to enable them to do their job well. The goal for any restaurant is to take care of their guests, providing the best dining experience. When asked about how do you provide the best customer experience, Michael explained that, “Having information or key data about the customer is key, it allows you to personalize their experience. Knowing the customers birthday, anniversaries and their favorite food, allows the restaurants to provide that special touch.”
