Member management — the 2017 way

We’re all involved in a club in some capacity.

“Club” is a generalisation. This may be a sporting club, university group, community organisation, horse-riding club or your child’s sports team.

Whatever the case, it’s often cumbersome to keep up to date with the goings-on of a group you’re a member of. After chatting with well over 100 clubs, it became obvious very early on that they were being run using multiple platforms. It was a mess.

Just to mention a few platforms used to keep them going:

· Facebook

· Eventbrite

· QPay

· MailChimp

· Excel

· MYOB

· Google Docs

Understanding that most people are involved with many clubs, it becomes clear quite how tough it is to keep track.

It’s a metaphor….get it?

When starting OpenClub, we understood what we were aiming to do — make club management simpler for both the member and admin.

From an admin standpoint, OpenClub is aiming to eliminate the need for external platforms. By handling member management, payments, events and communication, we are creating a platform which makes life easier for admins. We know from personal experience how tough it is chasing up members — OpenClub makes life far easier.

For members, we’re creating a platform which allows them to manage all their memberships in one place. Wouldn’t’ that be nice? A single platform to handle all memberships?

Have any important announcements from any of your clubs? Yep, we’ve got you covered.

Have any upcoming membership renewals you’d forgotten about? We’ve got you covered there too.

OpenClub — because, it shouldn’t be hard.
