We build platforms and tools for developers, to make the job easier.
Why?
“Software is terrible.”
We all want better software, but…
Writing software is hard. Writing big applications with a team of people can be nightmarish. The amount of effort it takes just to decide on which communication tools to use for a large team can be herculean.
Our only chance of improving software is by improving the process. The only way to improve the process is to improve the tools. Maintaining good process and tools in a software development team is way too much work.
We can do better.
Automation is good, but standardization is better. Ask any serious person involved in software how important “automation” is. Then ask them how many other companies are using their cool tools.
We’ve standardized our products. Most websites today are built with Drupal, WordPress, Ruby, or some other common framework.
We have not yet fully standardized the infrastructure for hosting, testing, and developing our products.
That is our mission.
