OGI presented at Smart City Conference 2016

Last 27 October the OpenGovIntelligence project (www.opengovintelligence.eu) was presented at Smart City Conference in The Hangue, the Netherlands. Prof. Marijn Janssen from Delft University Technology, representing OGI consortium gave a speech explaining data governance for smart cities. Marijn revealed how Linked Open Statistical Data (LOSD) can be collected and governed to create new insights, contributing to creating smart cities.

José Manuel Vassallo, Professor in Transport Economics Universidad Politécnica de Madrid presented the state-of-art from Spain. Hans Broekhuizen, Alderman City of Heerenveen and Jeroen van Els, Clustermanager City of The Hague gave the perspective of Legislative and Executive for Smart City initiatives on the Netherlands.
