It’s a beautiful, wild road… and a road worth following.

As OpenTribe grows, we’ll be producing and streaming media through OpenTribe. We’ll look for stories of grassroots innovation that educate and inspire. Then, with the help of our professional film crew, we’ll tell some of these stories through short videos and a recurring news show. We’ll also provide education through webinars focused on specific topics.

Finding and highlighting successes will create a massive cycle of social invention and learning within our community. This is a revolutionary strategy: we are enabling, documenting and sharing innovations in local communities to inspire people around the world to do the same. Our goal is to build a collective entrepreneurial mind that fosters health, economic, political and environmental transformation.

While there will always be a role for government, no government in the world could ever match the creativity, motivation and transformational capacity of millions of people (and maybe someday billions of people). By working in common purpose and learning from one another, we can implement strategies in our own local communities to solve previously unsolvable problems.

Media is the core of OpenTribe, so if you have a story you’re proud of, please let us know. We can’t promise to cover every achievement (with luck, there’ll just be too many!), but we love hearing of your successes. We promise to give each of your stories our full consideration.

And finally, because PlantPure supports OpenTribe, we encourage our community to check out the offerings of PlantPure, which now includes a show for people interested in plant-based cuisine. PlantPure is offering a live online cooking class hosted by PlantPure Chef Kim Campbell, nationally recognized author of the PlantPure Nation Cookbook. We can learn more in the video below.
