Announcement of winners of #BuildOnOpenWeb Network initiative
We are excited to announce the winners of #BuildOnOpenWebNetwork campaign. We received multiple entries for a wide variety of websites including time tested web wallets to POC for a decentralised social media to domain explorer being built on OpenWeb Network.
A total of 9 website entries with unique concepts solving different problems:
dcdn.ow — Decentralised CDN for OpenWeb Network Websites
It is common to use CDN services for website development. CDN is short for content delivery network. As openweb hosts content decentralized, our version of CDN is a DCDN. To avoid websiteFilesLimit problems, you can link to our DCDN versions of angular, bootstrap etc.

You will be able to:

2. Group by:
- Date: like a Blockexplorer (default)
- Domain: see the history of each domain
- Owner: who owns which domain?
- Method: get a history of each methods

search.ow- Decentralized search engine for ow domains
The data for the (local browser based) search engine is stored decentralized, while the index for the data has to be regularly updated. Only OW domains will be indexed, external links to the centralized web will not be indexed!
We accept robots.txt files and only follow links like other search engines.

A simple yet addictive game demonstrates that OpenWeb Network has a possibility of hosting games that can be accessed and played by a global audience.

me.ow- First-ever fully decentralised online reputation management system.
Users and Businesses can create their profile on me.ow and other members on the network can upvote and downvote them. The voting process requires users to vote for them using their private keys and by creating a transaction on the blockchain.

This was just a basic website published to test OpenWeb Network. I published this when only official website was present on the network and received a shoutout from OpenWeb official twitter.
