in 5 mins!!

In integration putting one thing and another thing together very often makes more than two things… queue in App Connect and IBM Cloud Functions!

With the addition of IBM Event Streams and its send message action to App Connect, it is now possible to take streams of events from the App Connect provided triggers and feed them, via a IBM Event Streams topic, into a IBM Cloud Functions server-less run-time environment quickly and easily in just a few clicks.

The video below shows how easily it is to do this and it’s possible to run all these steps on something as lightweight as a tablet or mobile phone and have your integration up and running in minutes. No need for provisioning servers or long wait times to see the fruits of your labour.

Once you have your integration up and running you can then monitor the traffic via IBM Cloud Functions to keep on top of your work load. Having access to the power of node.js in a scalable IBM Cloud Functions server-less environment then means you can manipulate the messages on the fly and route them anywhere.

Literally the world is your limit!

IBM Message Hub is now called IBM Event Streams and as in the fast paced world of agile the video above will not show the full features now available within the product. Sign up to App Connect trial to get access to all the latest actions, triggers and functions.
