Hopeful Requiem
A poem
I spill my words
As a maple drops its leaves
Angst takes on letters as death changes color
I add humor and wit, turning it over and over
And the soles of my feet press down
Branding loss into the ground
I spill my words
As a maple drops its leaves
Angst takes on letters as death changes color
I add humor and wit, turning it over and over
And the soles of my feet press down
Branding loss into the ground
