Three powerful ways for UX & Market Research

Opiria now offers three powerful ways to access users´ opinions, feedback and data:

  • Mobile Diaries
  • Mobile Surveys
  • Web Surveys

The existing Opiria apps for iOS and Android were strongly enhanced. In addition to that Opiria is now also offering web surveys. That means companies can now collect responses across all platforms via the world wide web. This offers countless possibilities to access users´ data and opinions. The following figure provides an overview to the three ways for UX and market research with Opiria.

3 powerful ways for UX and market research

Accessing users opinions, feedback and data with Opiria follows a uniform scheme consisting of 4 steps:

  1. Design surveys and diaries
  2. Distribute surveys and diaries globally
  3. Collect opinions and data
  4. Analyze surveys and diaries

1. Design surveys and diaries

Surveys and diaries are designed by companies in Opiria Studio. One can select from many different question types and also include image and video stimuli in questions. In addition to that Opiria Studio allows to control the duration of a survey and how many answers and how much data one wants to collect.

2. Distribute surveys and diaries globally

Opiria offers multiple ways to distribute mobile diaries, mobile surveys and web surveys (see the following figure). When using the Opiria app one can e.g. distribute surveys by push notification to a selected group of users and receives opinions and data within minutes. Web surveys can easily be embedded in any existing website or also in social media channels (e.g. Instagram or Facebook). Another great way is making surveys downloadable by scanning a “survey QR code”. This allows for example cafes, restaurants and hotels to get real-time feedback how customers like their visits.

3. Collect opinions and data

3.1 Mobile diaries

When performing a mobile diary consumers use the Opiria app to document their experiences, feelings and behaviors right in the moment of truth when experiencing a product or service using pictures, videos, audio messages, and comments as well as by answering predefined questions. This information and data is automatically sent to the company via fast 4G/5G or WiFi.

The company can observe the participants feedbacks in real-time from anywhere in the world with Opiria Studio. The application visualizes the data of each consumer in different ways. The timeline-based representation sorts the feedbacks according to their temporal occurrence along the participants journey. The location-based visualization shows the exact location of each feedback on a map.

This enables companies to discover firsthand what the consumer is experiencing. They can put themselves in their frame of mind. This leads to an unprecedented understanding of the consumers´ feelings, needs and requirements along all touchpoints of the customer journey.

3.2 Mobile Surveys

80% of all adults have a smartphone which is either in their pocket or within arms reach anytime and anywhere. This enables Opiria customers to have a direct line to users through the Opiria app. This allows them to gather opinions and feedback from them everywhere and at any time to perfectly understand their needs and requirements.

The great advantage of Opiria app based mobile surveys is that consumers receive a survey by push notification and provide opinions and data in minutes. This real-time market research approach is completely revolutionizing how market research is done.

One can even dive deeper into each provided feedback and view all provided data such as videos, audio comments or pictures. Opiria Studio also allows to tag and comment given feedback to group them and analyze them in more detail. In addition to that all provided data is aggregated across all participants and visualized on different diagrams and in data tables. Powerful filter mechanisms enable to get an even deeper understand of the provided data.
