It is not dependent on either being viral on Launch or later. The competition can freely run and adjust as user engagement and community growth to run for 1 month or 1 year seamlessly, as needed.
Rewards along the journey towards 1 Million Opoch Users
We asked ourselves what all rewards should be given in ‘The Dawn’ competition? Building communities is a multi-decade challenge and we wanted to make sure we keep rewarding the pioneers along the way, and give back to the community for their participation.
So, as Opoch reaches registrations towards that goal, we will give away OPOC Tokens and ERC 721 collectibles to all users registered till that milestone. Celebrating our success, together 😇

‘The Dawn’ Individual Leaderboard lists the best of our 1st million users who have worked hard for taking our vision forward. The rank in this leaderboard is determined by Karma that are earned across ‘The Dawn’ Competition.

This list is a representation for the efforts of these individuals, these are individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to support the vision. They would have made significant contribution in increasing awareness on decentralisation and help create the marketplaces that are required for a great decentralisation experience.
Loot box
There are a total of ~2.5 Million Loot boxes right now. Each one of them holds anywhere between 1 to 1,000,000 Tokens. One of the ways to earn more Karma for Individual leaderboard is to collect maximum lootboxes.
Loot boxes are earned right now by registering and claiming one loot box everyday. You can later earn them with the help of various tasks, challenges, mini-games, etc. along ‘The Dawn’ Competition.
Loot boxes gives us the freedom to design activities that can later be used to promote the community forward while keeping the overall competition and economy balanced. Also, they are fun and not bad when you’re not paying for them (read EA) 🤷
Loot boxes also contain rare collectibles, they allow us remain flexible for scaling up, and we’ll keep adding more fun stuff inside them for sure 😇

- There are currently 2.5 Million Loot boxes that contain close to ~100 Million Tokens.
- There are various tasks to earn loot box. We’ll keep adding more mini-games to keep things light and fun.
Kickstart Marketplace: Focusing back on The First Million
Whatever your dream might be, the first step is the most difficult one. Onboarding the first million users in a marketplace is the most difficult million. Be it user profiles on Facebook, drivers and riders on Uber, or the hosts and guests on AirBnB. The first million make the experience worthwhile for the next billion to grow into.
