Meetup #1 is right around the corner, it’s time you get to know our speakers.
Luis Vaz — Founder of Canvaz Design Studio
Luis has been dedicating his work to real challenges and has worked across the globe in several projects with millions of users, as well as actively participating in the design community as a Judge for the CSS Design Awards.
Aproud father and surfer, after graduating in Advertising, he soon moved on to a multimedia post-graduation, focusing on UX/UI.
For the past 12 years, Luis has been designing digital experiences, some of his work being even featured by Apple, as was the case of the Breeze app.
Having gone through a few jobs, his entrepreneur skills were showing, and he started a serial entrepreneurship rampage of sorts, founding multiple companies, like muchBeta, Niiiws, Tails and Whales, FINIAM and Canvaz Design Studio.
Bouncing between working with clients and his personal projects, this experience helped Luis develop a deeper understanding of what’s required for the success of a project.
Luis loves to embrace hard projects that add value, while providing a great experience for users, or as he puts it:
“Can’t say no to a good challenge!”
His creativity has even caught the eye of sports celebrities such as Dwyane Wade, Adrian Peterson and Ernie Els, and recently he was invited to join the 2018 judge panel for the CSS Design Awards.
We can’t say enough great things about Luis, so I guess you just have to drop by and come meet him!
