Meetup #4 is right around the corner, so let’s continue to get to know our speakers.
Sofia Peres — Head of Service Design and Innovation Management at Porto Digital
Motivated by the unknown, she explores emerging fields with a particular focus on the role of design in society, services and innovation.
With a background in Communication Design, Sofia refocused her journey to service innovation and new product development, with the Master in Innovation and Design Management, in Barcelona. From there she hosted several service design events, in the cities of Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon, as local host and main facilitator.
Between 2017 and 2018, she founded the Service Design Portugal community and joined, as a founding member, the Service Design Network Portugal Chapter.
Through research, co-creation and strategic design initiatives, she facilitates multi-stakeholders throughout the innovation process to improve or create new services, always applying a human-centered approach. Her leadership and facilitation skills are complemented by design thinking and service design methodology and techniques.
Always eager to explore and experiment, Sofia also designs and delivers training in human-centered design for several entities.
With such an impressive path, we look forward to seeing Sofia on our Group Panel, on November 28th.
