OPO.js meetup #9: Speaker Profiles 🗣
Meetup #9 is right around the corner, it’s time you get to know our speakers.
Vasco Santos — Software Engineer at MOXY
A well known face at OPO.js, having helped us organise several of the previous editions, this time it is Vasco’s turn to share his experience with the community.
Vasco has spent most of his career focusing on JavaScript development, ranging from building intricate frontend applications, to even more complex libraries and protocols for the distributed web, such as libp2p and IPFS, with significant contributions to the JS implementation.
A technology enthusiast, Vasco is always looking to learn new technologies and paradigms. This lead him to complement his long time interest in IT with a Master’s degree in Computers and Telematics Engineering, during which he got involved in multiple activities, such as IoT and decentralised architectures research, and even the pedagogy section of the students’ association.
Since then, Vasco has been focused on improving his skills, as a Software Engineer at MOXY.
We look forward to seeing what Vasco will be sharing with the community next June the 19th. 💪
