The Opporty team is enormously proud to be acknowledged for all our hard work over the past year. Receiving two 2018 Stevie International Business Awards in two nomination categories is a true honor for us.

UN Global Compact Participation
The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s most extensive corporate sustainability initiative. It proposes changes to ensure a better future for the planet and invites companies and stakeholders to participate in collaborative work.
Being a part of such a massive and altruistic movement is a huge responsibility, but Opporty is ready to put forth extra efforts toward solving various employment and economic issues.

CCTEA Membership
Opporty continues exploring new horizons, and we are excited to enter the Chinese market with the future goal of becoming a global organization.
We are becoming members of the China Cooperative Trade Enterprises Association because we share the CCTEA’s vision and goals for expanding international trade.

Opporty Technical Paper Part 2
Now we would like to share some insights on the technical aspects of the Opporty project.
The Opporty team has turned things up a notch by publishing our Technical Papers for those followers who appreciate in-depth knowledge about blockchain core solutions.
The 2nd part of Opporty technical paper unveils the implementation of zk-SNARKs protocol and explains its importance.
Strengthening the Opporty Project
August was another busy month for Opporty developers as well. They have accomplished more than 150 significant tasks to enhance the project, along with multiple smaller assignments for fixing bugs and issues that are too extensive to calculate.
Let’s take a quick look at a couple of the most noteworthy.
Improvements to Opporty Personal Accounts
- The team has upgraded the function for sending emails to a company. Now users may contact firms with one click.
- We have also improved the message UI to resonate with the website design.
- The gamification score is now more accessible. You can see your reputation score and total points as soon as you enter your personal account.
- If a user posts an anonymous request, no one can respond by email. Users may only review the request and respond to it within the platform.
- We have prepared a special User Tour, which shows hints on how to create a service on the marketplace.
- We have redesigned our chat room.
- We have optimized the ability to add images to a service.
Improvements to the Opporty Marketplace
- We have changed the way the breadcrumbs are displayed on the Blog pages for better navigation and improved user experience.
- You may now see the number of comments and ratings for each blog post without opening the articles.
- The Marketplace Blog pages are now optimized for mobile devices.
- We have improved the way services are displayed by fixing problems with the “free consultation” sign, rating, and experience.
- From now on, users may tick the “as soon as possible” checkbox while creating offers and requests, to place them at the top of the list with a “HOT” sign.
