Last week was another super busy week for the Opporty team, as we were preparing for Opporty’s token presale, which launched on February 5. However, that did not stop us from continuing with project development, even for a minute. While a lot of updates and fixes made over the past week were associated with our preparations for the launch, some other improvements were made as well.

Verification System

We have integrated a verification system for both US residents and non-resident participants. The team was required to take this step to comply with current US legislation, in order to launch a fully regulated presale. Now participants can confirm whether they reside in the US or a different country by following one of the two possible verification methods.

Presale ICO Account

For our contributors’ convenience, the team has released presale ICO accounts for contributors who were already planning on participating in Opporty’s token presale. New contributors can create accounts by following this link or by clicking “Contribute Now” on our Opporty ICO landing page.

Landing Page Updates

The Opporty team has made some minor improvements on our ICO landing page. Users may not notice specific changes, but they will definitely get a sense of its fresher look.

We are also translating our landing page and whitepaper into some other languages. Currently, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Korean translations are in progress. Stay tuned and be the first to see them released shortly!

Marketplace Bug Fixes and Updates

In our previous article, we shared that we have been working on some setups of the Opporty marketplace home page. We finished those last week and now “Blog of the Community” is displayed on the marketplace homepage, showing the latest articles from our Blog of Companies.

In both company and user accounts, the team has implemented “Response History” as a list of responses that users can reply to by using our internal chat feature. Responses are displayed as charts with dates, services and response status.

We have also set up automated notifications for users and companies for the following actions:

  • Company received a response
  • Customer received a reply
  • Company published a service.

The team caught and fixed some bugs on our newly launched marketplace. Those were mainly associated with layouts and the marketplace service catalog.

Services on Opporty Marketplace

Users have been posting their services on our marketplace and the number of offered services has reached 30. We project this number to grow by more than three times — to 100 services — during the next month. The majority of services currently posted on Opporty fall under the “Law” category, but users from some other niches such as “Beauty & Wellness” and “Web & Digital” have also posted offers.

On Opporty, every user can post one free offer per month, to attract more requests from potential clients in a simple manner.

Launch of Opporty Presale

The most significant event at Opporty over the past week was the launch of our long-awaited Opporty token presale. Our presale is fully regulated, and all participants are required to undergo verification.

The project is in the midst of a historic moment that will bring about revolutionary transformations in the world of business. Within the first three hours our presale, we attracted contributions of over 500 ETH, confirming that the team is on a trajectory for success and even greater achievements.

Preparations for Multi-Language Localization

Opporty aims to be a multilingual platform that will cater to the needs of users from multiple countries speaking different languages. Soon our users will be able to experience our newest transformations and view other language versions of the entire platform, in addition to our ICO landing page.
