Opporty again with our weekly updates! This week’s updates are special because they do not only refer to our website. Last week our founder, Sergey Grybniak, attended two important events — the World Crypto Economic Forum and the North American Bitcoin Conference — where he presented our project. We would like to share with you how everything went. But let’s stick to our routine and begin with Opporty’s updates first!

Disclaimer: All of the following updates will be available to check out on our website, once we have finished testing. We just want to make sure that everything works properly.

Catalog Design Layouts

As we mentioned previously, our team is focusing their efforts on marketplace development to deliver promised results on time. Last week we created design layouts for our catalog, and designed service cards and feedback forms, so customers will be able to contact service providers.

Backend Development

Now any service can be added from the admin panel, and at the same time the company account will be linked to the service. This enables our moderator to assist companies in creating and editing their publications.

Another backend update is associated with the response feature. When a user leaves a response about a certain service prior to directly requesting it, a separate chatroom is created for the parties to discuss the service, negotiate prices, and clarify other details with the service provider. We continue to work on ensuring great user experience.

Frontend Optimization

Recently we approved the adaptive version of our home page, and last week we successfully designed it. Our team cares about the users who access our website from both computers and mobile devices, which is why we want it to look and feel great, no matter which devices our users prefer.

Now a bit about the events.

The WCEF and the TNABC

The World Crypto Economic Forum in San Francisco on January 15–16
The North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami on January 18–19

All in all, both of the events went great, and Sergey has shared a lot of good news with us. Here are the highlights:

  1. Numerous outstanding blockchain specialists attended the events, so Sergey had an opportunity to learn from them about the latest trends, perspectives and possible future directions the industry will take. In turn, Sergey shared his knowledge and expertise.
  2. Opporty received positive traction on the part of venture capitalists, investors and potential users. We even acquired some “local fans” who came to visit Opporty’s booth every day.
  3. While attending the WCEF, Sergey gave an interview and talked about Opporty, cryptocurrencies and blockchain. We hope this will help us reach an even greater audience.
  4. Another milestone achieved! During the events, many participants and attendees joined our whitelist. Opporty now has pre-commitments in the amount of 8 million US dollars. We are glad that the audience showed such significant interest in our project’s concept.
