Make every moment of your life an outpouring of love.

-Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations With God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 2

Feeling shaky as I surveyed my baking workstation at the teahouse last Friday, I decided to march forward with my day with grace.

Everyday Better.

This became my silent mantra, whispered to my soul as I moved with bravery. I focused on how much better I felt, step by step. Moving through my day, creating scones, cupcakes, and pots of tea to soothe others warmed my heart.

We add strength to our body and heart by allowing ourselves any forward motion. Some days, we only make a tiny bit of progress. Yet, adding those increments we see how far we have come.

When healing from a physical injury, illness, or heartbreak, we must give ourselves a focal point.

Those words helped me concentrate and know I was on the right path.
