“Breathing in, I calm my body. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is a wonderful moment.”
Thich Nhat Hanh, How to Relax

I dashed to the closet, stood there, and forgot what I needed. My brain felt like it contained ping-pong balls bouncing to and fro all day. Normally, I can focus more, but travel preparation makes me flit about like a little butterfly.

This week it has been hard to concentrate and stay productive. I needed to center myself and find some peace in all the excitement.

Going outside always restores me and helps me back to my center. It is like the air around me creates a bubble of effervescent joy.

In nature, we can feel the calm stillness envelop our soul as we gently stroll, or rock back and forth in a chair. The garden comes alive and whispers life back into our frantic hearts.
