“Let’s just be fabulously where we are and who we are. You be you and I’ll be me, today and today and today, and let’s trust the future to tomorrow.”
Jerry Spinelli, Love, Stargirl

Feeling out of balance for a few days caused me to appreciate and trust my body’s signals to pay attention. As soon as I decided to lower the salt in my diet, I felt off.

My feet, knees, and arms felt swollen, and little pains were shooting all about. My electrolytes were low. After drinking many restorative liquids and returning to my normal salt levels; my symptoms subsided.

Slowly, I learn to trust in my body and soul’s inner wisdom.

It reminds me of when I was sick and craved corn chips and dried apricots. These contain salts and electrolytes that helped me heal. We must listen and trust our inner signals for what we need.

Finding a balance between medicine and our guidance is delicate. They can coexist and help us thrive. I prefer to find as many solutions in nature as possible.

Have faith in yourself and life as they will always guide you to the truth.
