Your Inner Strength
Becoming strong in all ways heals the soul
“The sun shall always rise upon a new day, and there shall always be a rose garden within me. Yes, there is a part of me that is broken, but my broken soil gives way to my wild roses.”

As my outer strength improves daily at the gym lifting weights, so does my inner strength and resolve to stay on my path of dreams. When we choose ourselves, we become our best friend. We lead ourselves toward the light and possibility.
Just as muscles break down to build up, we must keep going even when the path seems to crumble beneath us.
Outer appearances need not deter our growth.
Yesterday, during a family brunch, my mom remarked how strong my arms looked. It made me smile, thinking of the year of hard work at the gym. Session by session, breaking down my body led to building it up with joy.
Yet, it is not the outside appearance that brings the most growth. Our inner work of building our resilience, willingness to show up, and resolve to never give up count the most.
