A few days ago, my heart felt heavy, as if I carried a weighted bag of sadness around with me. I do not know why grief returned with a dark cloud upon my hours, but I shed tears of sorrow in the garden.
At times, without warning, difficult feelings can emerge.
We can honor them by letting tears flow and allowing ourselves time to feel emotions. For me, time spent wandering through the garden, touching blooms and leaves, serves as a balm for my soul.
I often feel the gentle energy of my grandma when I visit her rosebush. Standing tall with sunset-colored blossoms, she comforts me.
Our hearts can rest outside.
