“What I know for sure is that when you declutter — whether it’s on your home, your head, or your heart — it is astounding what will flow into that space that will enrich you, your life, and your family.”

Dear Lovely Readers,

If you love to garden and be outdoors, you need many tools for these calming pursuits. I admit: I usually toss everything into our shed and forget its disarray near the end of summer.

However, my theme for this year is joyful simplicity. Holding on to those words allowed me to sort out the essentials for maximum garden joy!

Do you love to garden or do things outdoors in the sunny weather? How do you store your tools and equipment?

Here are some tips for organizing a shed:

  • Decide on what tools best support your favorite outdoor activities.
  • If there are multiples of a type of item, pare them down to one or two.
  • Make sure everything is visible by using all the wall space and shelving if needed.
  • Give away anything still usable that no longer serves a purpose in your garden.
  • Decide on any goals you have for this space.
