On the 6th episode of the season I interviewed Daniel Zozaya Brown. Daniel is currently a graduate student and Peace Corps Recruiter at the University of Missouri and he talked a lot about how his experience shaped his future career. Listen below or subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.

Daniel entered Peace Corps in Ecuador in the unique position of already being a native Spanish speaking, and he discussed the major differences in Ecuadorian culture and how he was still perceived as an outsider despite his Mexican heritage. While Daniel was serving he played in 2 bands, one of which started to hit it big while he was a member of the band and ended up on the radio. The conversation ended with Daniel’s “Welcome to Peace Corps” moment.
