TILT AND POUR

Love God with everything,
Your neighbour as yourself.
God with everything,
Your brother as yourself.
God with everything,
Your sister as yourself.
What if I have nothing and
Hate myself?
Is love not somehow strange?
Is it a science, is there a method?
Is it constant or subject to change?
Where is it coming from and where are we going?
And who can really love a deity?
Does love between two evolve or is it created, is it choice or destiny?
Could it be that love substantiates the choice and makes it destiny?
Could it be that love establishes a thing that has never been?
Could it be that love is a creative force within itself; that it was not meant to be until it was chosen to be?
That it was not written in stone cemented before time but it came like a burst of laughter through synergy.
Could it be that love is the house we will build or are we the house love built?
Could it be that love is an outpouring and we are the overflow?
Yes love is
an outpouring
and we
are the overflow.
We don’t strive we tilt and pour.
We are not lacking, there is no struggle here.
Planted by streams of living water,
We don’t strive we simply grow
There may be questions about how love
Came to be but there is only one way
Love can lead.
See what has been revealed:
Love is
The Spirit that moves across the deep,
The voice that summons light from sleep.
The Son that dies to rise for
His bride so her from death he would keep.
Forgiveness without measure;
Love is the broken heart that mends to love another day.
Love is
The line you draw to mark the territory of your loyalties.
One thing, one love, one God.
Helmet on, shield up, on guard.
Alive love is aligned,
Assigned love is on guard,
Out right love is a command.
God with everything,
Your neighbour as yourself.
God with everything,
Your brother as yourself.
God with everything,
Your sister as yourself.
But
What if I have nothing and
Hate myself?
Let God love first
And as you begin to overflow
Tilt and pour.
