Announcing Oracle Entity Framework Core 8

Oracle Database and ODP.NET Core now officially support Entity Framework Core 8 (EF Core 8). You can start using them together by downloading Oracle EF Core 8 free from NuGet Gallery.

Oracle EF Core 8, just like EF Core 8 itself, only works with the .NET 8 runtime. It supports connecting to Oracle Database 19c and higher versions, including Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Database XE/Free.

ODP.NET 21c documentation has been updated to reflect new EF Core 8 feature support.

Note: ODP.NET 23c is currently available as a prerelease version. It will support EF Core 8 starting in production.
