ODP.NET Core now officially supports the new .NET 8 runtime. Download ODP.NET Core 3.21.120 or higher from NuGet Gallery to start connecting your .NET 8 apps to the Oracle database.
This ODP.NET release is 21c-based. It supports connecting to Oracle Database 12c (12.1.0.2) and higher versions, including Oracle Database XE, Oracle Database 23c Free, and Oracle Autonomous Database.
ODP.NET 21c documentation has been updated to reflect the new .NET 8 support.
Note: ODP.NET 23c is currently available as a prerelease version. However, it will support .NET 8 starting in production.
