Oracle’s Global Developers Program for Python Kick-off
A new initiative for developers who use Python and Oracle Database to help drive Oracle’s product direction.
I would like to virtually introduce myself: my name is Veronica Dumitriu and I am a product manager in the Oracle Database group, primarily supporting open-source programming languages APIs (i.e.: python-oracledb, node-oracledb, ODBC, etc.) for creating, deploying and tuning scalable applications and services for Oracle Database on-premise and in the cloud.
I am heading up a new customer-focused program around Oracle Database Python development. If you have a Python and Oracle Database focus and want to join our “Global Developers Program for Python”, I am currently recruiting.
Global Developers Program for Python consists of a panel of developers/data scientists/development managers from customer organizations and partners who work with Oracle’s senior product management team to guide strategy and offerings, and address shared industry challenges.
Our goal is to create a community and a close, long-term relationship with our customers, who can help us identify product gaps and to set product direction, by establishing a regular dialog, sharing knowledge, professional experience, and implementation reviews with other peers; you will hear the latest updates on product directions and capabilities directly from Oracle Development.
If you feel this is something that might be of interest to you, or if you have any questions about the program, please follow up with me and I could provide more information or answer any questions you might have.
