Responsible AI

In partnership with AI4Diversity and ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), Oracle Database is the launch partner and sponsor of 12 new Meet Up chapters around the world focused on Responsible AI.

The mission? Support diversity in AI with the following goals:

· Remove Bias in AI Systems: The lack of diversity in the AI industry can lead to the development of biased AI systems that perpetuate existing societal biases and discrimination.

· Ensure Inclusive and Fair AI: It is important to have diverse perspectives and experiences represented in the development and implementation of AI systems in order to create inclusive and fair AI systems that benefit all members of society.

· Address the Skills Gap: By engaging and educating diverse communities about AI, AI4diversity aims to make AI accessible to a wider range of individuals, enabling them to participate in the development and use of AI systems.

· Ensure Social Responsibility: It is important for the industry and governments to take a responsible and ethical approach to its development and implementation, ensuring that it benefits all members of society.
