We proudly introduce Main Street, a Web3 mobile app connecting small businesses with their customers to create deeper engagement and revolutionize brand loyalty. This week we completed the release of our beta app, allowing real-world users to check in at local shops and earn rewards. Main Street is available for iOS and Android users in our initial markets, Brooklyn, NY, and Queens, NY.

How does Main Street work?
At Oraichain Labs US, our goal with Main Street is to create a mobile app that allows end-users to interact with smart contracts in their everyday lives, while remaining true to the core principles of blockchain. This means utilizing decentralized infrastructure in every way possible, from login to file storage, protecting user privacy while enabling exciting new users to experience the benefits of decentralized ledger technology (DLT).
With more than 1000 businesses available in our initial market, the user journey with Main Street is quite simple:

- Automated sign-up (no phone, no email, and no private information required)
- Check-in at local businesses
- Earn and claim $MNST tokens
- Spend $MNST tokens on NFTs, prizes and gift cards
One thing you’ll notice is that we do not require users to import an existing Web3 wallet, fund a wallet with our native token, or make an investment of any kind. We believe that in order to achieve mass adoption of DLT, developers must remove barriers and risks for end-users, allowing them to get comfortable with blockchain and smart contract interactions.
With Main Street, we aim to create a user-friendly app that serves as a gateway to Web3 for thousands of new users. By simplifying the process of earning and spending tokens, we hope to introduce more people to the world of DLT and show them the benefits it has to offer. Main Street is now available on both the App Store and Google Play, ready to be explored. You can download the app here: https://mainstreet.works/download-app. While availability is initially limited to Brooklyn, NY, and Queens, NY, we will be quickly expanding to more areas in the coming weeks!
