Building on our commitment to decentralized markets, we’re excited to announce the launch of the Permissionless Listing feature on OraiDEX! This new feature empowers everyone — from independent users and small teams to large-scale projects — to easily list their tokens on OraiDEX, without the need for complex technical development.

Permissionless Listing

As the name suggests, Permissionless Listing allows anyone to list new tokens directly through OraiDEX’s intuitive interface — no approvals needed, fully embracing the power of decentralization! Once listed, your tokens can be used to:

  • Create V2 liquidity pools: Use our AMM model to provide liquidity, allowing anyone to swap existing tokens for your new token.
  • Enable AI-powered Smart Routing: Leverage our advanced AI to find the best swap routes for seamless trading.

How to List Your Token

Create your token

  1. On OraiDEX’s homepage, select “Create Token”.

2. A pop-up box as below will appear. Fill in all the required information, then click “Create.”

3. After signing the transaction, search for your token by its symbol — it’s that easy!

Create Liquidity Pools and Enable Swaps

Once your token is created, the next step is to make the most of OraiDEX’s powerful decentralized trading features.

  1. Let’s start with creating a liquidity pool for your token. Navigate to the Pools Tab and select “Create New Pool.” Choose Pool V2.

Note: The amounts provided during the setup will determine your token’s initial price. For example, setting up a pool with 10 tokens (ATT1) and 0.1 USDT results in a price of 0.01 USDT per token. If pairing with a token that doesn’t have a price on CoinGecko, the token price won’t be calculated automatically.

2. After signing the transaction, wait 2–5 minutes for your pool to go live on OraiDEX.

3. Once liquidity is added, your token will be available for swapping by anyone through the Swap feature.

Preventing Scams: Verifying Your Token

Since OraiDEX operates in a free market, token impersonation risks exist. To build trust and prevent scams, you can verify your token. Verified tokens display a verification tick next to their name, ensuring authenticity.

Unverified tokens require users to confirm actions at every step, adding an extra layer of caution:

How to Verify Your Token

This process contains some steps which will need actions by a developer

  1. Submit a Pull Request to OraiDEX’s GitHub

Create a new pull request to the below repository to add your token information.

oraichain-sdk — This step involves adding the token details for the network you want to list on. Information required includes the token name, denom, logo, decimals, and other relevant data. See this PR for more information: A sample creating PR to verify token

2. Create a new proposal

Once your pull request is complete, submit a proposal to the DAO.

Visit OraiDEX DAO on DAODAO, use the example proposal template, and include any additional project details as needed.

3. Wait for Approval

Once your pull request is reviewed and approved and the proposal passes, your token will be officially listed as a verified token on OraiDEX.

What’s Next?

This is just the start! We’re actively working on simplifying the token verification process and preparing to roll out Liquidity Pool V3, which will be included in upcoming updates. Stay tuned for more enhancements!
