Counter-Strike has become a household name among esports, and has proven to be one of the most popular esports in recent years. In its latest game, “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive”, the series has shattered its previous viewership numbers with nearly every new event. But now, as the game continues to age, the question must be asked: has the professional CS:GO scene reached its peak?
The game was initially released all the way back in 2012, so does the game still have the legs to move forward and continue to grow, or have we already passed its glory days?
