What do you hope to accomplish?
You can do what it takes, if you have want to, but what do you hope to accomplish? This is where you need to start with? If you want to swim the channel, learning to dive well, may not be the best thing to work on. As with any task, project, company or endeavour, you need to know what you want to accomplish otherwise you may take the wrong path.
Do you want to take over the world and have the biggest company employing millions, or do you want to have work that fits around your life in a way that gives you enough. You may not know these answers when you start, but you really need to sit back and think about it before you get to the point where you can’t change the destination. It is amazing how much you can get caught up in the momentum.
This question can keep you on the path you want and need to be on. There is always room for aiming high and accomplishing more than you ever thought possible, but there is also room for a pragmatic approach and realistic dreams. You may be the sort of person who takes things in stages and hoping to accomplish something will push them next time with bigger hopes and dreams. Hoping will not get you there, but being hopeful and working hard is likely to give you a good start.
But with anything, ask yourself what you hope to accomplish, give yourself time to answer the question.
In the simplest terms, I help people to get ready to profitably scale. What you do with a room full of people is very different to how you do it when they cross cities, continents or oceans.
