Today we’ve set live a new design for org-id.guide, providing a cleaner and clearer view onto available sources of organization identifiers.

This also marks the end of the first phase of developing org-id.guide, as IATI, Open Contracting and 360Giving all move towards adoption of the new list as a shared register of organization identifier lists.

Working with CCM Design, the updated look and feel is designed to streamline exploration of possible identifier lists, making a clear distinction between suggested list, and possible lists, and showing the list quality scores more concisely.

In this design, we’ve stripped back detail, focussing on only the most essential meta-data. In future work, we hope to build on this, identifying how to introduce any extra contextual information, without introducing clutter.

We’re also looking for other user feedback on the new look and feel: you can share your thoughts in the project issue tracker to help this continue to iterate and improve.
