Addressing Revenue and Social Interaction Features on the OGLife Game and Multi-Metaverse Platform
Gaming community hub, NFT marketplace, and multi-metaverse platform Original Gamer Life or OGLife Lead Game Developer Carlos Bott attended the AMA episode with Coinstages. The AMA episode happened on 17 November 2022 at the Coinstages Telegram community. Carlos answered questions from the hosts and the community regarding the OGLife multi-metaverse platform, upcoming $OGL IDO launch plans, and more.

Have you met all your goals in the roadmap till now? And were there any difficulties that you didn’t expect and were not prepared for?
Carlos Bott: In terms of meeting our goals in our roadmap, we are still in the development stage and on the initial pre-IDO phase of our roadmap right now. Our main priority is releasing our space station metaverse platform and the $OGL IDO launch for the coming weeks. We are also planning for our alpha testing, NFT and real estate building, and releasing our content for marketing push.
There have been shifting priorities in the past but we are now full steam ahead of developments for the OGLife platform and $OGL IDO launch. Our roadmap is available on our website and is updated from time to time to reflect shifting priorities because we want to ensure we deliver a real game and drive that token utility so everyone can have fun and earn while doing so.

It caught my attention that “75% OF ALL THE INCOME FROM THE GAMES COMES FROM THOSE DESIGNED AS “FREE TO PLAY”, but could you really explain what they refer to?
Carlos Bott: This is an interesting question. I think one of the goals for game devs is to make content interesting that will result to players purchasing items in game especially for Free-to-Play” games.
Look at CS:GO, Valorant and even Roblox, these games are free-to-play but they rake in revenue in interesting add-ons, which are mainly cosmetic in nature. They must only be cosmetic in nature, as any in-game purchases that affect game play is usually frowned upon as it crosses into “pay-to-win,” something we want to avoid here at Original Gamer Life.
It caught my attention that in OGLife distant families and friends will be able to connect and play together without problems, but will it really only be through a chat? Or will they have video call functions and more for greater social interaction?
Carlos Bott: For the OGLife platform, chat features will initially be just like how Epic Online Services supports it. Video calls require our own game online services, which are a possibility for now since we are still on the development phase. But seeing Microsoft, Google, Discord, and Zoom are relatively unsuccessful at the moment due to bandwidth issues, it’s a bit unlikely to happen soon. There can be features for social interaction just like in-game video chats through avatars (in-game characters) or something similar to this.
How efficient will the process be on lower-end older devices? Can I play the game on both computers and mobile phones??
Carlos Bott: First, we will target PCs and Consoles. A light version will be then made available for VR and mobile phones. We plan to optimize our game to run on as many devices as possible. We want to reach as many of the 3 billion gamers in the world as possible, and that means making our MULTI-METAVERSE accessible to a variety of hardware configurations and devices.
